The Gentlemen's Roundup: Three Silhouettes to Watch for Fall 2015

This season Fall 15 menswear has gotten the slightest bit more relaxed, oversized and sporty. The inspiration seems to be found in the tension between classic sophistication and sporty street wear.

1.) The Bomber-This silhouette is a classic on the menswear scene and cycles in and out of popularity. As a follow up to last year's athletic baseball jackets the bomber typically has a zipper front instead of snaps or buttons and more pocket detailing. This year you will find it not just in the typical nylon fabric but also in suede and aged leather variations.

2.) The Overcoat- Great for cooler climates or guys who want to polish off a more casual ensemble. Our prediction is the silhouette will be in vogue for a while, mirroring the rising trend in womenswear. Keep the hemline above the knee and the color dark if you are shorter to help elongate your legs.

3.) The Quilted Vest- A classic piece in fall wardrobes, the vest has transitioned from outdoorsy rugged to sleek urban.  We like this version from BR that adds a little structure at the collar and comes in flannel (keeping it distinct from vests designed primarily for performance or corporate swag). For guys who carry their weight in their midsection, avoid the horizontal quilting and opt for diagonal lines and top pockets that define the waist, similar to this Belstaff vest.
